In 2006 the resister got burned-over. I replaced the full panel and got no heat from settings 1-4; the fan has to be on 5.
2008 same matter happened, just to get wind I postulate a new fan! 2009 the same issue, once more replaced the fan.
Concluded a period of 3 years I replaced a flooded panel and 2 fans.

We bought the car in March 09. It has been a great car until the last month. It would be great straightaway having the fan on 5 every the time for heat.

I was driving and noticed a burning smell (somewhat on the sweet side) and then I byword smoke coming from the vents. I pulled over. Upon further inspection I realized that air was no more coming from the vents: 1-4 were dead.
At once setting 5 lone works but the smell is still there and awful.

I've exclusively had my car 6 years and plan to save it more more. Likewise it hasn't been heavily used and misused as it only has 58,000 miles on information technology. The first Little Jo positions of the blower (1-4) just stopped working and it was very annoying. Also to touch on it cost $45 for the part and hourly repair charge.

My HVAC sports fan only works on scene 4 and 5. And the AC will chime in and out with no warning. Hot up is OK.
